Our mission : To connect, support, communicate about and advocate for SDG initiatives by building bridges and breaking silos between international organizations, foundations, corporations and individuals, for solidarity to become the norm.
The International Solidarity Network is on a mission. We want to be a part of the change and to encourage solidarity differently.
Our goal is to connect you to international aid, for greater social, humanitarian and environmental impact.
We offer a new approach of international solidarity: the belief that together we can tackle sustainable development and the disastrous consequences of COVID-19 and the current war.
The International Solidarity Network allows individuals, nonprofits, corporates and foundations to get involved and contribute to sustainable development actions, and to become the change they want to see in the world.
We created a free social network for each individual, which works just like any other platform: in a few clicks, you can create your member profile, with access to private messages, the ability create posts with photos and videos, group chats, updates by Sustainable Development Goal, discussion forums... and more.
On the International Solidarity Network you can:
• meet people nearby and internationally
• join various community spaces such as the Youth Academy
• engage in communities in different languages,
• find volunteering opportunities,
• watch livestreaming,
• join international online events, meetings and webinars related to sustainable development.
You can even download a mobile app on your phone, join courses, follow concrete actions on the ground from our vetted NGO partners active all around the world, and be inspired by humanitarian and environmental action to be part of the change.
In brief, this is the place to be for purpose, solidarity and SDG online action. Your network.
Our programmes
Our Academy of Community Advocates provides training to SDG advocates and encourages solidarity at an international level. Community Advocates are from all over the world and are all activists dedicated to SDG action. In addition, ConnectAID’s Youth Voices project and the high-level thought leader Ambassador program includes international SDG influencers from all backgrounds that assist in the creation and execution of ConnectAID’s mission and values. ConnectAID also holds an SDG Book Corner, a list of SDG Influencers and provides a mapping system of SDG actions around the world. And annually, we organise distinguished World Summits dedicated to exposing SDG values, breaking silos, and encouraging solidarity. And this summer, we are sending our reporters to the field to help even more our NGO partners.
