We are now looking for an Intern Community Advocate (CA) with a focus on social media and Fundraising/ grant writing, 60% to 100%, 6 months minimum.
ConnectAID was founded on a strong network within the international development and humanitarian sector – but it owes much of its success to the support of individuals like yourself who want to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The commitment of people from many walks-of-life and varied experience is what has made ConnectAID the viral, essential and transformative Platform it is today.
ConnectAID, the International Solidarity Network, is a Swiss NGO based in Geneva. It works as a communication support and humanitarian social impact network dedicated to sustainable development actions, for greater social, humanitarian and environmental impact. Its goal is to connect people to international aid.

Here is a summary of what we have done since we started in 2018:
Are you an experienced communications professional with a background that includes social media management, digital communications and/or fundraising? Would you like to help us build a future where solidarity is the norm, and nonprofits organizations, Foundations and corporations work together to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals?
If you are creative, independent, and self-motivated, this is a great opportunity to make the role your own! Come join our team of Community Advocate, where your actions will have a direct impact on millions of people!
The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to find compelling, non-traditional ways to tell the stories of sustainable development impact through social media channels, with a goal of inspiring and engaging key audiences including Foundations, partners, donors, news media, and others.
This position is a combination of storytelling/content creation with an emphasis on social media management and fundraising. We are looking for a creative thinker/planner who is not afraid to suggest out-of-the-box ideas and work independently.
This person will be able to work remotely and will need to be flexible and reactive to last minute requests, as well as managing longer term deadlines.
Minimum of 6 months, 60% or more, home based
Application deadline: November 20th 2002 . Starting ASAP
