Thank you for your interest in ConnectAID, the International Solidarity Network.
In order to be able to register your organisation as "compatible" with our
ethical considerations and policy, we would like to check with you whether you meet the following selection criteria:
Your organization is officially registered as a not-for-profit organization (NGO, association or foundation) with any surplus generated through operations utilized solely to help the organization fulfill its mission and objectives.
Your organization is implementing projects which directly benefit local populations, and which are in line with one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Your project(s) are on-going and you are able to show a track record of project implementation (annual reports, photos, testimonies of project participants...).
Your organization's headquarters and official bank account are domiciled within one of the following countries (as only authorized by Stripe, our external payment institution): Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czechia Preview, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Brazil or Romania.
Your organization counts at least three full time staff (paid), including staff on the ground.
As a potential partner, your organization commits to cover administrative (50€ per year as a special offer) and Stripe transaction costs, and to invest up to 9% (+tax) of all donations received through ConnectAID into the Platform’s operating costs, outreach and fundraising efforts. These fees do not include communication support services which are offered as an option according to your organization's needs.
Your organization respects the religious freedom of others and works beyond borders of politics, religion, culture, race and ethnicity. Your organization is also committed to embracing anti-discrimination and inclusivity of all types of people or groups, regardless of background.
Upon request, you commit to providing your donors coming from at least one country with any tax deduction receipts required.
You commit to informing accurate updates about each of our projects (including photos and content) as well as informing ConnectAID’s members of any news, changes or important points of mention.
Your organization commits to mobilize and inform its existing network of ConnectAID as well as to invite them to join the viral Platform in order to increase the number of potential donors.
